1 (8-ounce) package cream, softened
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon caraway seed
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 coarse black pepper

Mix cream cheese with onion, garlic, basil, caraway, and dill weed. Shape into a round, flat shape. Put on serving plate and cover top and sides with coarse black pepper. Good right away or several days later. Surround with crackers and serve with a festive spreading knife.

Fun Fact: Interesting . . . There is an old superstition that a thief would not be able to steal anything that had a caraway seed in it, nor would the thief be able to leave the house! Also thought to keep lovers and pigeons from straying, caraway seed was used as an ingredient in love potions, and to tame pigeons.
