Cheese-Stuffed Biscuits

Ingredients

1 (10-ounce) tube buttermilk refrigerator biscuits
1 (8-ounce) package Cheddar cheese, sliced into 10 cubes
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon poppy seed

Directions:

Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Open a small pocket in the side of each biscuit; tuck a cheese cube into each pocket. Press dough together to seal well. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Cut a deep “X” in the top of each biscuit. Brush with milk and sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden. Serve warm.
