Corny Coating


Serves: 4

Ingredients

3/4 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried celery flakes
1/8 teaspoon turmeric
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 pound meat, chunked, fish, chicken, beef, elk, venison

Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients and set aside. Blend together egg and milk for dipping. Dip meat first into egg and milk mixture and then into coating mix. Deep fry or pan fry until meat is done. Can be served with favorite sauces for dipping. Dry ingredients can be mixed ahead and kept in refrigerator for quick use.
