Lillet Cocktail |
|
If you've never tasted Lillet, you're in for a treat. It's been made in the village of Podensac, a few miles south of Bordeaux in southwest France, since 1887, and is readily available in many liquor stores. A fortified wine blended with a special combination of fruits and herbs, it is a classic aperitif. It's divine served over ice with a slice of orange.
3 ounces Lillet white wine
Ice cubes
1 slice oranges
Club soda water (optional)
