The egg drop soup is a fun addition to sweet n' sour chicken. It gives the meal a balance. The left over mixed vegetables are used in another meal as a side dish. If your family likes their soup thicker simply add 2 teaspoons of corn starch mixed with cold water bring to a boil and cook until thick.

Substituting cubed pork instead of the chicken is good variation. Be sure to leave your onions and green peppers in large pieces for this dish. They add color and texture to the sauce.
