4 oranges large unpeeled, quartered, seeded, and finely
18 peaches peeled, pitted, and chopped
Sugar
1 cup red maraschino cherries chopped
1/2 cup nuts chopped (optional)

Oranges and peaches may be chopped in a food processor or put through a food grinder, using the coarse blade. Measure fruits and add 1 1/4 times as much sugar as fruit. Bring to a boil; simmer until sufficiently thickened. (Time will vary with juiciness of fruit.) Add cherries and optional nuts; heat to boiling. Seal in hot sterilized jars according to manufacturer's instructions.
