Quick Chicken Gravy

Ingredients

Cooking Time: About 5 minutes Power: 100% (700 watts)
2 tablespoons onions minced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 cup water
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
dash black pepper
dash poultry seasoning
2 drops browning and seasoning sauce (optional)

Directions:

In a 4-cup microwavable measuring cup or bowl, place onion and butter. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 2 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in flour until blended. Stir in water, bouillon granules, pepper and poultry seasoning until blended.

Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil and is thickened, stirring every minute. Stir in browning and seasoning sauce if desired. Serve with Chicken Stuffing Casserole.

Bacon Rose: Place one slice bacon on a microwavable bacon rack or between paper towels. Microwave at 100% power (700 watts) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until browned. While still warm, coil into a rose shape, then secure with a wooden pick cool completely. Remove pick.
