Bumpy Road Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup half and half
6 marshmallows large or 1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup nuts chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

* Cooking Time: About 3 minutes Power: 100% (700 watts) Standing Time: 5 minutes In a 4-cup microwavable measuring cup or bowl, place butter and unsweetened chocolate. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until chocolate melts (chocolate will not lose its shape until stirred). Stir in powdered sugar and half-and-half and beat by hand until smooth.

Add marshmallows. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are puffy and almost dissolved, stirring after 1 minute.

Stir in nuts and vanilla and beat by hand until smooth. Let cool for 5 minutes.

Stir in chocolate chips until almost melted and serve warm over ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers up to 1 week. Reheat before serving.
