_ 12-ounce cans apple juice
_ 12-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate,frozen orange
_ cup cranberry juice
_ sticks cinnamon (about 2 1/2 inches each) broken in half
_ teaspoon cloves whole
Orange slices or additional cinnamon sticks (optional)
At least 20 minutes or up to 2 days before serving: In a 3-quart saucepan, place apple juice, orange juice concentrate, cranberry juice cocktail, broken cinnamon sticks and cloves. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove and discard spices. If making ahead, cool, cover and refrigerate up to 2 days.
To serve: If made ahead, reheat. Pour hot mixture into mugs. Garnish with orange slices or cinnamon sticks if desired.
Note: If you prefer, put broken cinnamon sticks and cloves on a 6-inch square of double-thickness cheesecloth. Bring corners of cheesecloth together and tie securely with string to make a loose bag.
