Honey Popcorn

Serves: 7

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup butter or margarine
6 cups popcorn
1 cup peanut shelled roasted or mixed nuts
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)


Heat oven to 350°. Heat honey and butter in saucepan until blended. Cool. Pour over popcorn which has been mixed with nuts. Spread well-mixed popcorn on baking sheet in single layer. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until crisp, stirring several times. Remove from oven. If using chocolate chips, stir into warm popcorn. Cool. Package in individual plastic bags.
