Granola

Ingredients

3 cups oats old-fashioned
1 cup wheat germ untoasted
1 cup coconut unsweetened
2 teaspoons cinnamon ground
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup dry milk powder
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup seedless raisin
1 cup sunflower seed or pumpkin seed
1 cup dates pitted chopped

Directions:

Heat oven to 250° or 300°. Mix first 6 ingredients together in large shallow glass dish. Combine honey, oil, and vanilla heat until combined. Drizzle mixture over dry ingredients, coating evenly. Place mixture in 250° oven for 1 hour or 300° oven for 1/2 hour, stirring several times during toasting process. Add raisins, seeds, and dates after mixture has cooled. Spoon individual servings into small plastic bags for snack time or serve topped with milk.
