French Cream Cake Filling And Topping

Ingredients

5 eggs yolk
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 cups half and half
1 cup currants
1 cup coconut shredded
pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Beat yolks and whole egg add sugar and flour, beat well. Add half-and-half, currants, coconut, and salt stir until thoroughly blended. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick enough to spread cool slightly. Add vanilla. Spread on 2 layer white or chocolate cake.
