Caramel Cream Pie |

1 10-inch baked pie shell
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 eggs white
2 cups half and half
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ground
2 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate grated
1/4 cup nuts chopped

Mix flour and 3 tablespoons brown sugar; set aside. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; while continuing to beat, gradually add flour mixture. Pour half-and-half over 1 1/4 cups brown sugar; stir. Fold egg white mixture into half-and-half mixture; add vanilla. Pour into baked shell. Lightly sprinkle nutmeg over top. Bake in a preheated 275° F oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour. During last 5 minutes of baking time, sprinkle top of pie with chocolate and nuts.
