Banana And Pineapple Coffee Cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup banana mashed ripe
1 (15-ounce) can crushed pineapple well drained
1/2 cup pecans chopped
8 red maraschino cherries halved (optional)

Directions:

Heat oven to 350° F. Cream butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy add eggs and mix well. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder blend into sugar mixture. Stir in banana, pineapple, and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Place optional cherries on top with cut side down and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until tests done.
