The Best Blondies

1 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup white chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee or caramel baking bits


Line the bottom of a 12"x9" baking pan with parchment paper. Spray sides of pan with non-stick vegetable spray and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt; mix in remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until set in the middle. Allow to cool in pan before cutting into bars.
