Apricot Layer Bars

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup butter, softened
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) jar apricot preserves

Directions:

Mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, butter and salt. Press half of mixture into a greased 8"x8" baking pan. Spread preserves over the top; top with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Let cool; cut into squares.
