Ingredients

4 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
optional: additional maple syrup

Directions:

Bring water and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in oats; cook over medium heat for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients except garnish and mix well. Spoon into 6 cereal bowls and top with additional syrup, if desired.

A centerpiece that’s as easy as 1-2-3. Arrange a greenery wreath in the center of the table, place a holiday plate in the wreath opening, then set a plump pillar candle on the plate and light.
