Easy Dutch Oven Rice


Serves: 20

Ingredients

4 cups medium or long grain rice
1 medium onion chopped
4 tablespoons butter
8 cups hot chicken broth
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

Melt butter in a 12” deep or 14” Dutch oven. Add rice and onions; sauté until onions are translucent and rice is a light brown color. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes, covered. Remove from heat and let set 10 minutes before serving.
