Glazed Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

1 egg plus enough water to equal 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
3 1/2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine or quick active dry yeast
Cinnamon Walnut Filling (below)
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
Vanilla Glaze (in Swedish Coffee Ring recipe)
Cinnamon Walnut Filling
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions:

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except Cinnamon Walnut Filling, 2 tablespoon margarine and Vanilla Glaze in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

Select Dough/Manual cycle. Do not use delay cycles.

Remove dough from pan. Cover and let rest 10 minutes on lightly floured surface. Prepare Cinnamon Walnut Filling.

Grease rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Flatten dough with hands or rolling pin into 15x9-inch rectangle. Spread 2 tablespoon margarine over dough sprinkle with filling. Roll up tightly, beginning at 15-inch side pinch edge of dough into roll to seal. Stretch and shape roll to make even. Cut into fifteen 1-inch slices. Place slightly apart in pan. Cover and let rise in warm place about 40 minutes or until double. (Dough is ready if indentation remains when touched.)

Heat oven to 375°. Bake 23 to 28 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to wire rack. Drizzle Vanilla Glaze over warm rolls.

For Cinnamon Walnut Filling:
Mix all ingredients.

1 roll: 245 calories (65 calories from fat) 7g fat (1g saturated) 15mg cholesterol 200mg sodium 42g carbohydrate (1g dietary fiber) 4g protein.

Do-ahead Note
After you have placed the slices in the pan, cover it with plastic wrap. You can refrigerate it from 4-48 hours. Before baking, remove the dough from the refrigerator and remove the plastic wrap. Cover with kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place about 2 hours or until it is almost double. Then continue as the recipe tells you.
