Preheat oven to 350°. In large mixing bowl, combine butter, 2 eggs, and dry cake mix, and blend well. Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Spoon pie filling over cake.
In small bowl, combine sour cream and remaining egg. Pour mixture over pie filling. Continue baking 15 minutes, or until sour cream topping is set.
