Barbecued Pork Chops

Ingredients

8 pork chops
3 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup catsup
1/3 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 bay leaf

Directions:

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown chops in oil. Drain; arrange chops in a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/2 hours, until tender. Discard bay leaf before serving.
