Rosemary Lemon-Pineapple Punch

Ingredients

1 (46-ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups lemon juice
2 cups water
3 cups sugar, divided
4 sprigs fresh rosemary
1 (1-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled

Directions:

In a large saucepan, combine pineapple juice, lemon juice, water, 3/4 cup sugar and rosemary sprigs. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Discard rosemary; chill. At serving time, add ginger ale; serve immediately.
