Monday

Dovetailing Tips: Today is onion day, as Monday usually is. I will keep it pretty simple though. Chop one medium onion for today and one large for Thursday. Easy enough, but you will be glad you did it!

Tuesday

Dovetailing Tips: Today's tiny efforts will make huge strides for the week! When you cook your bacon for today, add an extra 1/3 pound. Once you cook it and dice it you will be way ahead for Thursday's Gumbo. We all know cleaning a greasy pan once is way better than cleaning it twice so this is one of my favorite things to dovetail. The other simple thing you can do today to get ahead is chop an extra cup of walnuts. So easy!

Wednesday

Dovetailing Tips: On today's dovetailing list are celery and mozzarella. Today's menu calls for celery sticks, but if you take the extra 2 minutes to chop an extra 6 ribs you will be happy you did on Thursday. Friday you will get the payday for shredding an extra cup of mozzarella today.

Thursday

Dovetailing Tips: Today is the day your efforts really pay off. If you dovetailed all week then you have bacon, onion, and walnuts all prepared!

Friday

Dovetailing Tips: Use that mozzarella and enjoy!
