Four-Layer Cherry Pie

Ingredients

First Layer:
1 stick margarine, melted
1 cup flour
3/4 cup nuts, finely chopped

Second Layer:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup Cool Whip
-----------------------
Third Layer:
1 large can cherry pie filling
-----------------------
Fourth Layer:
Cool Whip (remainder of 16-ounce container)

Directions:

First Layer:
Mix margarine and flour together. Use a spoon to press the mixture in the pan. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake for 15 minutes. Chill well.

Second Layer:
Mix cream cheese and sugar well, then fold in 1 cup Cool Whip (from large container). Pour and spread over the first layer. Chill.

Third Layer:
Pour and spread over second layer. Chill.

Fourth Layer:
Spread over third layer. Chill
