2 prebaked Basic Pizza Crusts or Cheese Pizza Crusts
1 pound ground pork or ground beef
2 cloves garlic minced
2 cups barbecue sauce
1 1/2 cups onions thinly sliced
6 ounces monterey jack cheese each Colby cheese and shredded (about 1 1/2 cups each) or 12 ounces Co-Jack cheese, shredded (about 3 cups)
In a large skillet, crumble ground meat. Add garlic and brown over medium-high heat; drain well.
Stir in barbecue sauce and onions. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until onions are very tender. Spread half of meat mixture on each crust.
Bake one pizza on a hot baking sheet in a 400° oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Bake second pizza on hot baking sheet.
Garnish with green pepper rings if desired.
