Broiled Salmon with Cucumber Sauce

Ingredients

4 salmon steaks
1/4 cup butter melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cucumber, medium, pared and diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chives chopped
1/2 cup sour cream dairy
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions:

Brush both sides of salmon steaks (fillets may be used) generously with mixture of melted butter and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Place steaks about 6 inches from source of heat (hot coals or preheated broiler) broil 7 to 10 minutes on each side, until fish flakes easily, brushing occasionally with butter and lemon juice mixture. Serve hot with Cucumber Sauce, made by mixing together cucumber and remaining ingredients (chives may be replaced with green onion tops).
