Baked Stuffed Fish

Ingredients

3 1/2 pounds frozen fish filets, dressed for stuffing
salt
black pepper
1 (5-ounce) package seasoned stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter melted
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Rinse fish and wipe dry. Cut fish inside along each side of backbone remove bone, but leave skin uncut. Sprinkle inside and out with salt and pepper to taste. Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions. Stuff fish with mixture. Close stuffed area with toothpicks. Arrange fish in greased baking dish spoon on melted butter (or margarine) and lemon juice. Bake fish on top shelf of oven, allowing 10 minutes of cooking time per inch of depth for fresh fish, measuring stuffed fish at its deepest point.
