Sauteed Swiss Chard


Serves: 4

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 pounds swiss chard coarsely chopped
2 cups chicken stock
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

In a large, heavy, deep skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté about 3–4 minutes. Add chard by handfuls until it wilts. Stir in the stock and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer about 10–15 minutes. Serve immediately.
