BBQ Chicken & Cheddar Burgers
What's better than a burger? A BBQ Chicken burger, of course. Cook on the grill, or inside in a skillet.
|1 1/4 pounds||. ground chicken|
|1/3 cup||barbecue sauce|
|3||green onions, chopped|
|2 teaspoons||olive oil|
|4 slices||sharp Cheddar cheese|
|4 wholes||wheat buns|
|thinly sliced green apple|
Combine ground chicken, barbecue sauce, green onions, salt, and pepper. Form into four 1-inch-thick patties.
To grill, heat grill and cook 7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Or, inside, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat olive oil on medium; add patties. Cook 7 minutes per side or until cooked through (165°F).
Top each patty with 1 slice sharp Cheddar cheese; remove from heat and cover to melt cheese. Serve on whole wheat buns topped with green apple and microgreens.
