Skillet Ham and Cheese

Serves 6


1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups milk
2 cups cooked ham, cubed
1 (8-ounce) package elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Sauté onion and green pepper in butter until tender stir in flour and salt. Gradually whisk in milk add ham and macaroni. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Mix in sour cream and cheese stir until cheese melts but do not let boil.
