Tuna Loaf

Ingredients

2 (6 1/2-ounce) cans tuna water-packed, chunk-style packed in water
1 cup bread crumbs soft, not dry
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 onion medium, chopped
1/4 cup parsley chopped
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme crushed

Directions:

Mix together all ingredients (1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes may be substituted for the fresh parsley). Bake in greased 8x4x2-inch loaf pan at 350 degrees F. for 50 minutes or until firm. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Cut into slices and serve.
Note: If desired, 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce can be heated and served over slices of tuna loaf.
