Put the spare ribs in a baking dish. Sprinkle the spare ribs with the onion, garlic, lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
Brown the spare ribs in the oven. When the spare ribs are browned, lift out and pour the white beans into the baking dish.
Return the spare ribs to the baking dish on top of the beans, and let the beans and spareribs continue cooking at a lower heat. Serve hot with Brazilian rice.
