Berry Good Syrup


Serves: 5
Total Calories: 121
Yield: 3/4 Cup

Ingredients

1 banana
4-5 large strawberries
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:

1. Slice the banana.
2. Slice the strawberries.
3. Place all the ingredients in a 1 or 2-quart pot over medium heat. Stirring frequently, bring to a slow boil and simmer 3 or 4 minutes. Enjoy hot or warm.

Try These Variations!
Apple-Banana Syrup
Substitute 1 peeled, sliced apple for the strawberries.

Mixed Berry Syrup
Substitute 1/2 cup raspberries or blackberries for the banana (but don’t slice the berries!)
