Layer one tube crescent rolls in a greased 13"x9" inch baking pan; press seams together. Blend together cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, egg yolk and vanilla; spread over dough. Top with remaining tube of crescent rolls. Brush with egg white; sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Slice into squares.
Tip: Strawberries make a sweet summertime side for any meal. To keep them their freshest, don’t wash them until ready to use. Place in a bowl and store in the coldest part of the refrigerator, loosely covered with plastic wrap, for up to 3 days.
