Tuna and Noodle Casserole

1 (7-ounce) can tuna fish (drained)
1/2 pound egg noodle
boiling salted water
dabs of butter
hard-boiled egg
parsley for garnish
White Cheese Sauce recipe


Boil the noodles in salted water for 12 minutes, or until tender. Drain well and rinse. Flake the tuna with a fork.

Make the cheese sauce as follows: In a well-buttered casserole, put alternate layers of the boiled noodles and tuna, covering it all with the cheese sauce. Top generously with dabs of butter and bake in a moderate oven (375°F) for 30 minutes. Garnish with sliced hard-boiled egg and sprigs of parsley.
