1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons shortening
1 water


Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening, adding enough water to make a stiff dough. Roll out dough until it is 1/4 -inch thick. Cut into 3-inch squares and deep-fry until golden brown. Serve warm with honey.
