Creamy Baked Halibut Steaks


Serves: 6

Ingredients

4 halibut steaks, about 3/4-inch thick
1 salt to taste
1 pepper to taste
3/4 cup thick sour cream
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped chives, fresh or frozen
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika

Directions:

Place steaks, close fitting, in a shallow buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix together sour cream, bread crumbs, garlic salt, and chives, and spread over steaks. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 15 - 20 minutes, or until fish flakes with a fork.
