Peel potatoes and grate on a fine grater. Pour off half the liquid that accumulates and add rest of ingredients; mix well. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto a well greased hot frying pan. Fry, browning both sides. Serve hot with applesauce, sugar, or sour cream.
