Cheesy Green Onion Quiche

pastry for bottom of quiche dish
8 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled
3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
1/2 cup half and half
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
dash of dried crushed red pepper


Line a 9-inch quiche dish or pie plate with pastry. Trim excess pastry around edges. Prick bottom and sides of pastry with fork. Bake at 400° for 3 minutes. Remove from oven and gently prick with fork. Bake 5 minutes longer.

Sprinkle bacon and cheese into pastry shell. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 375° for 40–45 minutes until set.
