Scrumptious Swiss Oats 'n Fruit

Serves: 4

1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/4 cups skim, 1/2%, or soy milk
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups any variety of fresh or dried fruit you fancy
1/4 cup chopped walnuts, pecans, or almonds


Night before: Stir together oats, milks, honey, and cinnamon in a large bowl and allow to soak in refrigerator, covered, overnight. (Must soak for at least 4 hours)
In the morning: Add fruits and nuts and gently mix together.
Serve in large attractive bowl with matching small bowls. Include toasted English muffins on the side if you wish.

• strawberries, hulled and cut in half
• blueberries
• raspberries
• bite-size chunks of cored apple
• raisins
• dried cranberries
• dried cherries
• dried chopped apricots
