Scotch Shortbread

Serves: 48
Total Calories: 71


1 pound butter
1 cup sugar
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt


Place all ingredients on a flat surface and knead until smooth and flour is absorbed. Divide into thirds. Shape dough into rectangle about 1/2-inch thick. Prick all over with fork. Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
