Creamy Fettuccini With Capers And Herbs

Ingredients

1 pound dried fettuccini pasta
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/3 cup Basil Pesto, homemade or jarred
2 teaspoons chopped garlic, preferably fresh
3 tablespoons drained capers, coarsely chopped
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine, stirring a few times to ensure that it does not stick to itself. Boil vigorously for the time recommended on the package or until tender. Drain.

Meanwhile, mix the sour cream, olive oil, pesto, garlic, capers, salt, and pepper in a serving bowl. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce before serving.
