Ingredients

2 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon polyunsaturated oil
2/3 cup non fat milk

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 475 degrees.

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl. Mix the oil and milk together in a measuring cup and add to the flour mixture. Stir with a fork until the dough clings together. Knead the dough with the base of the hands on a floured surface about ten times. Place the dough on a 12 inch by 16 inches wax paper and pat out in a ½ inch thick layer.

Cut individual biscuits with a cookie cutter or a water glass, place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until browned.
