Chive Bread

Serves: 6
Total Calories: 160


1 unsliced loaf French bread
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chives, finely snipped


Slash bread in 1-inch slices, cutting to, but not through, the bottom crust. Blend butter, cheese, and chives together. Spread on each side of the bread slices. Wrap in foil label and freeze.

When ready to serve, thaw bread. Heat on edge of grill for 20-30 minutes, turning frequently, or in the oven at 400° F. for 20 minutes.
