Cut chicken into chunks. Combine flour, almonds, salt and pepper; set aside. Combine egg and buttermilk. Dip chicken in milk mixture and dredge in flour mixture. Pour butter in large baking pan. Add chicken, turning to coat in butter. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
