Beat all cake ingredients in mixer about 5 minutes on medium speed. Pour into greased Bundt pan and bake at 350° for 50–60 minutes. Remove cake from oven; let sit about 3 minutes. Loosen edges with knife, then remove to cake plate with lip. After it cools slightly, carefully fork holes all over cake; spoon Glaze slowly over (it may puddle at bottom; spoon it back over; it will eventually get absorbed by cake). Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
Melt butter in small pot; dissolve sugar in it; stir in praline liqueur.
Editor's Extra: Praline liqueur is also good drizzled on a slice of bought pound cake, over ice cream, or over cracked ice with some cream as an after-dinner sipper.
*You can substitute 1/3 cup dark brown sugar boiled in 3/4 cup water for the praline liqueur.
