Hearty Sausage & Egg Bake

1 (6-ounce) package croutons
2 pounds ground pork sausages, browned and drained
6 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8-ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese


The night before, sprinkle croutons into a greased 13"x9" baking pan; top with sausage. Beat eggs, milk and mustard together; pour over sausage. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, spread soup over casserole; sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 300 degrees for one hour, or until center is done.
