Cow-Country Beans

Ingredients

3 cups dried red beans
1 pound cooked ham, cubed
1 onion, sliced
1 cup celery, diced
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons bacon bits
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoke-flavored cooking sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Cover dried beans with water in a bowl; soak overnight. In the morning, drain beans. Combine with remaining ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high setting for 8 to 10 hours.
