Chicken Gravy

Serves: 3

2 cups milk - hot
1/4 cup chicken drippings
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup milk - cold
salt and pepper to taste


In a large saucepan or roasting pan, add the hot milk to chicken drippings. Combine the flour and cold milk mix until smooth. Add the flour mixture slowly to the drippings mixture and whisk in until smooth. Heat the mixture until it boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Makes 2-1/2 cups.
