Traditional Philly Cheese-Steak Sandwiches

Ingredients

2 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 pounds rib eye beef tenderloin roast, sliced almost paper thin
4 ounces cheese whiz pasteurized process cheese spread or substitute Velveeta processed cheese
salt and pepper to taste
2 baguette French bread rolls or similar rolls, cut into 6-inch lengths then cut lengthwise

Directions:

In a 5-inch Dutch oven, slowly heat and melt cheese whiz. Meanwhile in a Dutch oven, sauté onion until light brown in 2 Tbs. oil and 1 tsp. butter, set aside. Heat a Dutch oven lid over medium heat and portion meat into 6 equal portions. Place 2 portions of meat on Dutch oven lid and slowly cook until light brown, top with onions and season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread Whiz over top and bottom of a roll and place meat and onion mixture inside roll. Enjoy!
